The NY Post reports that a Riker's Island prison captain, Latanya Brown is being investigated for giving inmate Dwayne Carter preferential treatment.
Capt. Brown was questioned by Correction Department investigators for spending extra time with the star and letting him hang out in his cell while other inmates were locked out of their bunks and ordered into the recreation yard, two sources told The Post.
The department has a zero-tolerance policy for officers who give preferential treatment to inmates, a spokesman said. Brown could not be reached for comment.
Back in April a prison guard was terminated for allegedly being in an unauthorized area where the rapper was staying.
