T.I. Fails Drug Test & Ordered To Appear Before Judge

Rap superstar T.I. was given a drug screen by his probation officer and tested positive for marijuana and codeine, the active ingredient in the drink "Sizzurp."

On Sept. 1st, T.I was stopped for allegedly making an illegal U-turn on the Sunset Strip. When officers searched the car they found ecstasy on the rapper and his wife, Tameka "Tiny" Cottle of Xscape fame.

The couple were released on $10,000 bail and could face up to a year on the possession charges.
This further complicates things for T.I., because he is on three-years supervised probation, after he was convicted of attempting to purchase machine guns with silencers before the BET Hip-Hop Awards in 2007.

Now T.I. must face the judge who cut almost nine-years off of his original prison sentence and allowed the rapper to serve just one year, due to his celebrity influence over teens.

Judge Pannell has not yet set a date for T.I.'s hearing.
